The historic brick walkway and iconic clock tower, a beloved centerpiece of our town, was a generous gift from the Fire Company in 1994. This thoughtful contribution, made possible by the Ensign-Bickford Foundation, has enhanced the beauty and character of our community for decades.
As we commemorate the Fire Company’s 80th anniversary, we’re excited to embark on a significant upgrade to this cherished area. With the continued support of the Ensign-Bickford Foundation, we’ll undertake a comprehensive renovation. This includes removing and replacing worn or damaged bricks, regrading the base for optimal drainage, and incorporating new engraved bricks to honor individuals and businesses.
You can be part of this legacy by purchasing an engraved brick. For a modest donation of $50, you can honor a loved one, commemorate a special occasion, or simply show your support for the Fire Company. Your personalized brick will be carefully placed within the walkway, creating a lasting tribute.
